Elaine F. Di Ricco

Elaine Di Ricco was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on July 24th, 1922 to Ruth & George Ehrman. They moved to Sacramento, California when she was 2. A few years later her sister Betty (Earl) was born. After her mother divorced, the three of them and their grandmother lived together. Elaine attended McClatchy High School and in her freshman year met Louis Di Ricco, the man who would become her husband. At 17 Elaine married Lou 22 and started a family. She took pride in being a homemaker during their 51 year marriage and together they created 5 children, Richard (Helene), Linda (Rick), Greg, Theodor (Helmut), and Lisa (Dawn). She was a grandmother to Rob, Sean (Sally), Rusty, Stephanie, Matthew, Teresa (Shuan), and great grandmother to Gianna and (Aurora, who she hadn't met). She was an Aunt to Sandy (Mike), Pat (Bill), and Tom (Anita) and great Aunt to Tom (Jessica), Tricia (James), Terri, Traci, Chris, Brad, and Thomas. She was a great, great Aunt to Landon, Lindley, Hannah, Hayden, & (Audrey, who she didn't get to meet), Garrett, Danielle (Lee), Brent (Ana), Andrew, Luke, (Fiancé, Bodeen) and Ian. Elaine's three favorite passions were gardening, reading a romance novel, and watching a good western. She was a devoted mother who loved all her children and family. She especially had a great sense of humor and wonderful laugh; she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends! Please join the family at St. Anthony's Parish at 10am on Tuesday, April 28, 660 Florin Road. Procession to St. Mary's Cemetery 6700 21st Ave. Reception to follow at 6255 Westbrook, Citrus Heights.
