Alec Terence Hodgins

Alec Terence Hodgins Jr. passed away on May 7 in Sacramento, California, aged 55. Alec is survived by his son, Peter. He is also survived by his parents, Alec T Hodgins Sr., Elizabeth and James J. Oakham Jr., brothers David and Daniel. He was preceded in death by his wife Christine (Marent) Hodgins. Born in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. Alec came to the United States in 1967and became a U.S. citizen. He graduated from Foothill High school 1977, and achieved a master's degree in education from Sacramento State University. He worked as a French teacher at Rio Americano High School for over twenty years. Alec had a deep passion for traveling the world, experiencing foreign cultures, fly fishing, and many other outdoor adventures. Interment will take place at East Lawn Memorial Park 4300 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento, CA. on Saturday, May 16 at 12:00 noon. Friends are invited to the interment followed by a memorial gathering at Alec's home at 2:00 P.M.
