Larkin, Craig Dennis Craig was born in San Francisco, CA and passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on May 13, 2015. Craig was a lifelong resident of the Sacramento area and graduated from Roseville High and California State University, Sac. with a Masters in Psychology. With his devotion to helping others he spent 32 years working in different divisions within Sac County Health & Human Services Dept., with his latest position as supervisor in Adoptions, from which he retired in 2013. Craig is survived by his beloved spouse of 30 years, Carol Moreno Larkin, and their 2 children, daughter, Audrey and son, Ryan Nicolas, and son-in-law Marc Smith. Also by his special mother-in-law, Isabel Moreno, brothers, Hank Lawson, Blake Larkin, Brian Larkin; sisters, Kate, Maureen, and Barbara; brother-in-law Nicolas, sisters-in-law, Menina, Brenda and Jeannie, and all their spouses. He also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Craig was preceded in death by his parents. Craig was a gentle man known for his integrity, who most of all found fulfillment and enjoyment at home with his family. His passion for playing his guitars never stopped and most recently he enjoyed performing with friends. Craig was a loving husband and supportive father, and for all his exceptional qualities he will truly be missed. Friends are invited to join his family in a service commemorating his life on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 2:00 PM to be be held at W.F. Gormley & Sons on 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811. At a later date at private ceremony will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery.
