Robert C. Pieretti

Passed away on the morning of Aug. 21, 2015 in Woodland, CA., at the age of 73. Born and raised in Walnut Grove, CA., he attended Walnut Grove Elementary School, graduated from Courtland H.S., and graduated from Sacramento City College. He is survived by sister, Joanne (John) Morelli of Woodland, son Dr. Robert Anthony Pieretti of Sacramento, nephews Paul (Elisa) Pieretti, John (Andrea) Pieretti, Matthew Morelli, nieces Karen (Paul) Carrillo, Melissa Morelli and Christine Morelli, and six great nephews and one great niece. He was the son of the late Angelo and Marian Pieretti of Walnut Grove and was preceded in death by brother Donald Pieretti and sister-in-law Kim Pieretti. Family and friends are invited on Friday, Aug. 28, at 10AM for a burial service at St. Mary's Cemetery in Sacramento, followed by a memorial mass to be celebrated at St. Anthony's Church in Walnut Grove at 12 noon. The family requests donations be made to St. Anthony's Church in Walnut Grove, or the Walnut Grove Fire Department.
