Elizabeth Morten

Elizabeth Elaine Morten died peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on September 15, 2015. She was born November 23, 1925 in Quebec, Canada to the late Frances Adell Ryan Leahy and Daniel Thomas Leahy. Preceded in death by her daughter Elaine Frances Wolff and her sister Anna Mae Lapres. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Pamela Beckner (Rocky), Betsey Soderston, Susan Soderston (Bob Glithero), grandsons Brian Wolff, Michael Wolff (Casey), Eric Wolff, Stephen Wolff (Amber), Scott Beckner (Heather), Daniel Beckner (Adele), Joseph Zurlo, and great grandchildren Jack Wolff, Hunter Wolff, Adelyn Beckner, and Clara Beckner. She also leaves behind her sisters Colleen Pete, Frances Kilgour, and brothers James Leahy and Daniel Leahy. Elizabeth was a registered nurse for forty-five years, beginning her career in Montreal, Canada, and retiring from Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento. In addition to her passion for nursing, she loved gardening, travel, and walking along the beach. A Rosary will be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on Monday, September 21 at 7 p.m., followed by a funeral mass on Tuesday, September 22, also at St. Anthony's. at 11:00 a.m.
