Scott Joseph Goodwin

Scott J. Goodwin, 68 passed away October 8, 2015 after a renewed battle with cancer. Scott was proud to be the son of Martha and Joe Goodwin, a marine, and a 5th-generation Sacramentan. He is survived by his wife Susan and leaves behind a community of lifelong friends and family. Scott's passion for fly-fishing and sailing was only surpassed by his love of great wine and good food enjoyed with friends. Scott spent many years working for the family business: Crystal Cream & Butter Company. He sat on the Board of the North Umpqua Foundation and gave generously to his community. His vitality was contagious and he was the consummate gentleman. He is deeply cherished and will forever be missed. A Memorial Service will take place at the Sutter Club on 10/31 from 12-3pm and at Steamboat Inn, Oregon on November 27. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the North Umpqua Foundation at northumpqua.org.
