Mark Kevin Morgan

Mark Kevin Morgan, age 60, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 7, 2015. Mark was a lifetime Sacramentan, attended Sacred Heart and Christian Brothers schools and was a member of local 12-step programs. He was co-producer of "Backroads California," a video production series he greatly enjoyed. Mark truly loved his music, especially the Kinks and Beatles and could get lost in used record/CD stores. He was also an amateur poet of sorts, which began years ago when he began writing lyrics for hopeful-to-be published songs. Mark was a compassionate and kind-hearted friend to many and he will be dearly missed. Mark is preceded in death by his parents, John and Lola Morgan, and sisters, Michelle and Maureen Morgan. He is survived by his brother Brent Morgan, his sister Robyn Sabado (Danny), his nephews Matthew (Stephanie) and Erik Leonnig. Memorial service will be at W.F.Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Ave, Sacramento, CA on Friday November 20, 2015 at Noon.
