Mayme Schrieve was born in Chisholm, Minnesota on December 5, 1925 to Anton and Mary Udovich. She moved to Sacramento, California in 1946. She passed away peacefully on December 26, 2015 from heart failure at the age of 90. She enjoyed her birthday celebration lunch. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years,

Fred Schrieve; son, John; daughter, Kathy(Andrew); granddaughters, Kimberly, Lisa(Michael), and Caresse; great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Nicholas and Andrew; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary; father, Anton; twin sister, Agnes; sister, Julia; sister, Anne; and brother, Frank. Mayme was full of life, energy, so appreciative, such a kind and sweet lady. Mayme enjoyed camping, fishing, reading, traveling with her husband, Fred, with their trailer. She enjoyed gatherings with her family, whether for holiday dinners, occasional lunches out, or just to spend time together. Years ago, she would help out with the Boy Scouts, Camp Fire Girls, field trips; so many precious moments. Mayme retired from the Sacramento City Unified School District Food Services after 23 years. She enjoyed her job very much. She will be missed by many relatives and friends. A memorial service will be on Tuesday, January 12, 2016, at 12:30 P.M., at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95811.
