June 3, 1949 — February 23, 2016

Sharron J. Siebal

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, auntie and friend, Sharron was the loving center of her family.

She was born June 1949 and raised in Sacramento, attending McClatchy High School (1967) and Sacramento City College. She died on February 23, 2016 in Sacramento, surrounded by her loving family.

She was incredibly brave and courageous and faced all of life's travails with grace, deep faith and love. Everyone who knew Sharron loved her. She excelled at everything that she did, from being a wonderful wife and mother to baking the most incredible cookies, to being a strong advocate for finding a cure for juvenile diabetes. She touched so many lives with her kind and gentle ways, never judging, always supportive and loyal. She was happiest spending time with her family and friends and hosting celebrations in her beautiful home and garden. She was the adored and devoted wife of Val for 43 years, and the loving mother of two beautiful daughters, Danielle Goode (Mitch) and Michelle. She cherished her sweet, little granddaughter, Allison. She was the beloved daughter of Lucille Smith and adored sister of Debbie Blucher, Debbie's family and the entire Siebal clan. She was predeceased by her father, Ted and brother Ron. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

A Rosary was held on Monday, February 29 at 7pm at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, March 1 at 10am, also at Sacred Heart Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
