Martin J. Fuerst Jr.

Martin James Fuerst Jr., a native of St. Paul, Minnesota and resident of Sacramento for almost 70 years died in Sacramento on March 14, 2016. He was the devoted  husband of Helmy (deceased) for over forty years and the dedicated father of Martina (Tessen) and Michelle. He was a kind and caring grandfather to Anna (Tessen) and Esther (Wolf) and gentle father in law to Jason Tessen and Adam Wolf. Martin was a devout Catholic and a dedicated family man. He was the beloved and zany uncle to ten nephews and nieces in Germany and a favorite cousin and loyal friend to many. He will be remembered by all for his intellect, dedication, sense of adventure and playful humor.  Christian Brothers class of 1952. The funeral service will be held at St. Mary’s cemetery at 11am.  Donations can be made in his honor at the Sacramento Food Bank.
