Ross was the loving father of Michelle and MacKenzie Kaplan, brother of the late Roberta Adess, uncle of Jason Adess, Stefanie Bell, and Matthew Adess, and will be fondly remembered by former spouse Susan Kaplan.
He was a native of Chicago, Illinois, and was a 25-year resident of Sacramento, aged 65 years.
Ross will be remembered for his infectious smile and kind heart. He enjoyed listening to music, appreciated many art forms, his morning coffee and a good book, and spending time with his daughters and close friends.
He was a dedicated member of B'Nai Isreal.

Friends are invited to attend a funeral service at Home of Peace Cemetery Chapel, 6200 Stockton Boulevard in Sacramento, on Monday, March 28 at 11:00AM. Interment will follow.
