Bernice Emma Schneider
Born May 3, 1922, and went to her heavenly home on April 8, 2016. Bernice spent forty seven years teaching in various schools in Elk Grove, Isleton, Salinas, and Castroville. Bernice was predeceased by her parents, George and Rosie Badella; her husband, Johnnie Schneider; her stepson, John; and her sister, Mary Sanahara. She is survived by her sons Tom and Tim Schneider; her brother, Bill Badella; her stepson, Jim Schneider; and step-daughter, Mary Schneider. Besides teaching, Bernice faithfully joined her parents weekends and summers, selling flowers and produce at the Farmers Free Market, which closed in 1986. Bernice spent her life putting others first. We love you Mom, you will be missed. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered for the repose of her soul at St. Joseph's Chapel inside St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento.
