Judith Ann Nord

On April 15, 2016 unexpectedly passed into the hands of God at her home in Bucerias, Nayarit Mexico at the age of 68.

Judi is survived by her beloved husband Mike Nord of 49 years and loving son Michael Sean Nord and daughter-in-law Janelle of Folsom, CA, brother Doug Bell and wife Deb of Johnstown, CO and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.

Born on January 6, 1948 in Longmont Colorado to the parents of Donald & Sarah Bell who preceeded her in death. Judi graduated from Longmont High School in 1966.  She married her high school sweetheart Mike Nord on February 25, 1967 and soon had a son Michael Sean.

In 1983 the family moved to Sacramento, CA  where Judi worked as an accountant for a prominent developer and spent 20 plus years with the company.  Sacramento became her second home while building many lifelong friends, boating and water skiing in the Sacramento Delta, taking trips to the Northern California coast and enjoying many outdoor activities with family and friends.

Retirement came easy as Judi & Mike began to RV in South Padre Island and later residing for most of the year in Bucerias, MX while spending time reading and relaxing on the beach.  She was an active member of the Parrot Head Club of the Sacramento Delta enjoying the music of Jimmy Buffet, Santana and many others. An avid football fan, her greatest joy was watching the Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl.

Judi is deeply missed by her family and friends. Please join us for a celebration of her life on June 17, 2016 at Swabbies on the Sacramento River - Garden Hwy, Sacramento from 2pm to 6pm.
