Robert B. Templeman Jr.
Robert Berger Templeman Jr. was born August 7, 1948 in Fort Worth, Texas. As an "Air Force brat", he grew up all over the world. From Texas to Italy, Bob touched so many lives and cultivated countless, lifelong relationships. Bob served his country honorably, when he joined the US Army, First Infantry Division in 1967 and was quickly promoted to Sergeant. Bob's bravery during his two tours in the Vietnam War (1968-1969) earned him 2 Bronze Stars. The discipline and patriotism he learned in the military never left him, as friends and family will attest. A few years after he returned, Bob settled down and started his family. He worked in real estate for many years before he retired. Bob had a passion for adventure, riding his motorcycle up and down CA. After 7 years of COPD, Bob passed away on June 27, 2016 in the comfort of his home in Sacramento. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Pauline and Col. Robert B. Templeman, Sr. (USAF Ret.). He is survived by his only son Travis Templeman (Amber) of Sacramento, two sisters, Kathy Rees (Lee) and Jeanne Templeman of Sacramento. He also leaves behind several loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and numerous friends. Bob was loved by many and will be greatly missed. Love you Dad. Services will be held July 15, 2016 at 10:30AM at the Sacramento City cemetery at 1000 Broadway, Sacramento. Reception to follow. Remembrances can be made to a veteran charity of your choice
