Salvadore J. Batalo

In Carmichael, June 30, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Anna Batalo, loving father of Sally Kirn and husband David Kirn, and Janet Radford and husband Stephen Coombs, son of the late Frances and Joe Batalo. Brother of Tony Batalo and the late Laura Wells and Tina Musillami. Grandfather of Annemarie DelMugnaio and the late Michael Teglia, Great Grandfather of Samantha and Chase DelMugnaio. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A native of Sacramento, aged 94 years. A member of N A L C and Piemonte Reale and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He enjoyed gardening and baseball and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered for the repose of his soul at St. Joseph's Chapel inside of St. Mary's Cemetery, 6700 21st Avenue, Sacramento, Friday, July 8, at 10:00 am.
