Katherine Cecelia Petta Tuttle, was born on July 28, 1920, in San Jose, California. Shortly thereafter, her family moved to Sacramento, California. She was preceded in death by her husband William Julius Tuttle; her parents Helen Sclafani Relles Petta and Rosario Petta; her brothers George Relles (Merle), Martin Relles (Mary), Ross Relles (Margaret) and Vito Petta (Leone); and son-in-law Alan Routhier. She leaves behind her sisters Alice Petta-Goldie and Margaret Latimer (Ray); her 3 children, Pamela Routhier, Thomas (LuAnne), Timothy (Lynn); 4 grandchildren, Julie Routhier, Jennifer Haley, Aaron Tuttle, and Kyle Tuttle; and 6 greatgrandchildren: Kayla, Nick, Olivia Morrow, John Macedo, Abigail, Jameson Haley. She attended Fruitridge School, Stanford Junior High, Sacramento High and Sacramento City College. She loved to dance and sing and while.in high school, she met the love of her life, William Julius Tuttle. They married in 1942 until Bill’s death in 2000. She worked for the State of California. She was full of life, always laughing, loved travelling the world with Bill, loved to take fast paced walks, garden, cook, and spend time with her family and friends. She was a typical Italian mother and will be forever missed. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial to be offered for the repose of her soul at Holy Spirit Church, 3159 Land Park Drive, Monday, Sept. 19 at 10 am.
