Helen Christine Sieber

Helen C. Sieber passed away peacefully on September 23rd surrounded by loving family. She is survived by her loving children, Pam Vanderford and Michael Sieber. Devoted grandmother to Scott Vanderford, Lindsay Androvich, Evan Pimental, Sheridan Sieber, Kendall Sieber and Brennan Sieber. Great Grandmother to Henry Androvich. Preceded in death by Henry F. Sieber, Connie Jean Levy and William Bowman.

Helen was born to Anna and John Nachreiner in North Tonawanda, NY in 1924. She was a long time resident of West Sacramento and was employed by the Employment Development Dept. for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed giving her time to church and school activities at Our Lady of Grace Parish. She was many things including an excellent cook, gifted gardener and an accomplished artist. Her love of life was present in every piece she created.

She was a wonderful teacher of life. She demonstrated extraordinary strength while maintaining elegance and grace in the midst of life’s adversities. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 1pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Our Lady of Grace Parish, 911 Park Blvd., West Sacramento. Reception will follow Mass. Arrangements by W.F. Gormley & Sons.
