Penny Hancock-Glatzel

On October 14, 2016 in Carmichael, California, Penny, passed away peacefully at home with family and friends by her side.  Penny is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Fritz Glatzel, her loving children: Dean (& Debi) Hancock, Leigh Hancock, TJ Hancock, Kevin (& Alisha) Glatzel, and Monica (& Ty) Williams, as well as her brother, John Skinner.  Penny was the devoted grandmother to Brandon, Megan, Nathan, Quentin, Evalyn, Aspen, Saige, and Cooper.

Penny was born in Alameda, California to Jack and Ruth Skinner. The family moved to Sacramento where Penny attended El Camino High School for her senior year.  She was an accomplished therapist and mediator in the Sacramento area and worked until her last days.  Her love for her family, friends and work is what drove her each and every day.

The Memorial Service will take place at the Dante Club, 2330 Fair Oaks Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95825 on Saturday November 5th at 11:30am. 

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to SMCF (Sutter Medical Center Foundation) and in the memo line write in Oncology.
