Lynn Tami Watanabe-Tuttle

Lynn Watanabe-Tuttle passed away in San Francisco on November 15 at age 62 with husband Tim and son Kyle at her side. Lynn was predeceased by her parents Mac and Louise Watanabe and her sister Jill Happ. Lynn leaves behind her husband of 39 years, Tim, son Kyle, siblings Ann Newell, Kim (Chris) Brunton, David (Marta) Watanabe, several nieces and nephews and many cousins. Lynn was born and raised in Sacramento graduating from McClatchy High School in 1972 and attended Sacramento City College. Lynn was an artist who was skilled in many different forms of art from drawing and painting to sculpture to stained glass and many others. Lynn loved to travel and visited many different places throughout the world. She was a very good cook and loved to bake. Her life was centered on her family, friends and pets. Her sense of humor and quick wit will be truly missed. She adored Kyle and enjoyed seeing him develop into a very good person. After a career in state government as an analyst, Lynn recently retired. She was diagnosed with liver disease and was scheduled for a liver transplant when she contracted a severe case of pneumonia which ultimately led to her passing away. The family would like to thank the Kaiser South ICU team and the UCSF Liver Transplant and ICU teams for providing excellent care and compassion. Services will be held at W F Gormley and Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA on December 10 at 11 AM. A Celebration of Life Reception will follow at Two Rivers Cider Tasting Room, 4311 Attawa Ave, Sacramento, CA.
