Louis Joseph Larocca

Lou passed away peacefully on Nov. 16, 2016, in Sacramento, CA, at age 91. He was the youngest of six children to Italian immigrants. During the Depression, he dropped out of school in 8th grade to work and help support his family. He served in the Navy in World War II, and afterwards returned to school and became a surgeon. He was married to his loving wife Louise for 53 years before her passing. Together they raised their family in Orange County where he practiced medicine. Lou is survived by his children, Lawrence, Linda and her husband Brian, and Louis and his Fiancé Lisa. He was the devoted grandfather to his six grandchildren, Nicole, Sienna, Brittany, Stephanie, Brett and Cayman. A Mass and Service will be held Sat., Dec. 17, 12:20pm, at John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1015 Baker St., Costa Mesa, Ca. He will be laid to rest privately in Miramar National Cemetery in San Diego.
