Isabel Laguer

On February 15, 2017, in Sacramento, CA. passed away peacefully, aged 87. Isabel Laguer was the loving wife to Carlos Laguer who died Nov. 17, 2005. She is survived by her loving children, Charles, Hernan, Paul and Hector Conde. Isabel is also survived by her brother, Gumersinda Hernandez, Titlito Detres. Devoted grandmother to Charles M. Laguer, Julie Villasana, Gabriel Laguer, Matthew Laguer, Kristen Rodriguez, Kayla Laguer, Kiana Laguer, Amanda Abernathy, Cameron Dent, Timothy Rivera, Adam Rivera, Sofia Conde & Giselle Conde, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was a housewife and seamstress. Her favorite hobby and part time occupation was making beautiful orchid arrangements. She loved to prepare food for family and friends and loved to entertain. She married her husband Carlos Laguer in 1949 and together raised 4 loving sons. She has a special affection for all her grandchildren. After her relocation to Sacramento in 2009, Isabel moved to the nursing home where she was popular with the staff and patients. She was able to mend things for them. She enjoyed playing bingo and many other activities with her companions there.

The Funeral Service will take place at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Ave., on March 4 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
