Lauretta Geremia was born in Casper, Wyoming October 20, 1924. She passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on May 13, 2017 in Sacramento, California. She is survived by 7 children and their spouses: Patty Roth (Bob), Cathy Delchiaro (Rich), Mike Geremia (Dee), Robbie Geremia (Margie), John Geremia (Jan), Gena Goodrich, Joanne Koch (Russell), 17 grandchildren and their spouses, 15 great grandchildren, her sister Gloria Thorpe, brother in-law Robert Boemer, sister-in-law Heather Purcell, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Norma and Stanley Purcell, sister Lois Boemer, brother Stanley Purcell, and ex-husband Eugene Geremia. She served during WWII in the Coast Guard. She and her sister Lois and father owned Grandpa’s Antiques in Midtown Sacramento. She also had a love of gardening and roses. She was the greatest mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.
Funeral services will take place at Sacred Heart Church on Monday May 22nd at 10am.
