Lynn Marie Jacobs Massetti

Lynn Marie Jacobs Massetti passed away unexpectedly on May 24.  She is survived by her dedicated husband Robert, loving sons John (Amanda) and Michael, her adoring grandsons Anthony and Francis.

Born on January 1st, 1953 to Raymond Jacobs & Margaret Jacobs (DeFazio) she was the eldest of five children, and is also survived by siblings Steven, Susan, Nancy and Paul along with countless friends and family. As a Sacramento native and 29 year Rocklin resident, she shared her passions for music, theatre, film, and compassion for childhood services which led her to a rewarding career in education throughout the greater Sacramento area. She was a graduate of St. Francis High School and CSU Sacramento. 

Lynn took great pride in her career as an educator, her dedication to community service, and made many fond memories with her friends and family.    

Friends and family are welcome for visitation at W.F. Gormley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Ave., Tuesday May 30th from 12 noon to 5:00pm. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, May 31st at 11:00 am at St. Mary Church.  Lynn will be interned at St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Diabetes Association or St. Francis High School.
