Gary Niebuhr

Gary Kent Niebuhr passed away on June 15, 2017 at the age of 56.  He was born on November 6, 1960 in Lincoln Nebraska.  His parents were German immigrants and he was raised in a Christian family.  He spent most of his working life in the cable installation business, starting in Colorado Springs and later moving to Sacramento, where he met his wife Natalie, and where he has lived for about the last 30 years. Gary is survived by his wife Natalie, Natalie’s son Tony (Mary Beth), mother Gisela Niebuhr, brother Dale (Ellen) Niebuhr, nephew Brian (Erin) Niebuhr, niece Lisa (Chad) Scribner, and five great nephews and one great niece.  He was preceded in death by his father Gerhard Niebuhr. A memorial service celebrating Gary’s life will be held Wednesday, June 28 at W.F. Gourmley & Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, at 11 a.m., followed by a luncheon for family and friends.
