Frank George Benham, Jr. (Jacomo or Jack) was born in Burbank, CA on the 5th of January 1951 to Frank and Ailene Benham. He passed away of cancer on the 26th of November 2017. He will be missed greatly by his wife Pai Lai, daughter Nicole, family and friends. He was a music lover and talented bass player. He played in the West Sacramento Community Orchestra and many other musical groups over the years. He was never without an instrument to bring music, and joy to everyone around. He often said "No Music, No Life." He was dedicated to the SGI Buddhist organization. He chanted every morning to enhance his spirituality. He loved sports and was addicted to all kinds -- football, basketball, baseball, tennis, golf.... He always supported Bay Area teams and rooted for the underdog. He loved traveling around the globe with his caring wife Pai Lai by his side. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Pai Lai, daughter Nicole, granddaughter Sabyth, and grandson Alexander, sisters Helen and Diana, brothers Gary and Doyle (Pete), nieces Chloe and Marissa, and nephews Chris, Jesse, and Nye.
A music party will be held in remembrance of Jackomo on his birthday the 5th of January 2018. It will be located at the Sacramento Elks Lodge #6, 6446 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95831 from 1--5pm
