Bernadette Therse Paulsen(Simpson) 
Bea passed away peacefully on January 23, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late retired LT. Colonel Paul Paulsen, and she is survived by her loving, devoted children Loretta Simpson Stribling (Randy), Marlene Mabel Simpson,  and Robert L Simpson (Christi). She lives on in her treasured grandchildren J.R. Weinzetl, Jacqueline Lee Gardner, the Paulsen grandchildren,  and her great grandchildren. Bernadette was born on Nov. 18th, 1933, to Mabel and Lloyd Sora. She graduated from Sacramento High school as well from nurses training at Kaiser in Oakland.  She subsequently became a licensed real estate agent in the late sixties and became one of the first female commercial real estate brokers who achieved the status of Sacramento Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club. She enjoyed participating in All Hallows church and school activities and the Italian Catholic Federation 183. She loved to travel, direct plays for her children and had many more interests. Friends are welcome to attend a Funeral Service, on Saturday, January 27, at 11:00 AM, at W. F. Gormley & Sons Funeral Chapel, 2015 Capitol Avenue Sacramento. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
