Milan Louis Popovich
Milan Popovich passed away on January 23, 2018, aged 84 years. Survived by his loving sister, Mitzie Johnson, his aunt, Vera Malkovich, and his niece Diana Landau (Carl). He is also survived by great nieces Kim Garner (David), and Mandy Kakavas, great-nephew Nick Kakavas, and great-great niece and nephew, Jillian and Charlie Garner. Born in Round Mountain, Nevada, Milan grew up in Nevada City and Sacramento. He attended Sacramento High School and California State University, San Jose, and then worked for 30 years in Lockheed -Martin's submarine missile division. Devoted to his family, Milan was a man of great integrity and intellect. He did not suffer fools. Milan was adored by his family and will be greatly missed.
The funeral service will take place at the Serbian Orthodox Church, 7777 Sunset Ave., Fair Oaks, CA., on Friday, January 26, at 10:00 am.
