Suzanne Louise Mckinnon
Suzy Louise McKinnon, age 65, died unexpectedly in Carmichael after an acute illness. She was born on Feb. 20, 1952, in Sacramento, to Jack Turpen and Maudelouise Brannely. In 1974, Suzy married the love of her life, Gene McKinnon. They had two daughters, Aimee and Allison. Suzy is survived by Gene, Aimee, Alli and her husband, Paavo; her brother, Mike Turpen and his wife, Heidi Hatch Turpen; brother, Stephen Turpen; Godmother Mary Ellen Fort; sister-in-law, Mavis Burke; brother-in-law, Dwayne McKinnon and his wife, Laverne; 17 nieces and nephews; and numerous other relatives and close friends.
A memorial service celebrating Suzy's life will be held on Friday, February 23, at W.F. Gormley and Sons, 2015 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento 95811 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to the American Diabetes Association
