Philip Huston passed away peacefully at age 84 on June 29th in Sacramento. He was born in 1934 to Richard and Gladys Huston in Minnesota, and is survived by his wife, Lindalee Goss Huston, of 58 years, and children, Richard (Silvia) and Jennifer (Angie). He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty (Roy) Kesner and survived by his brother, Richard (Nancy) Huston, and sister, Annabelle (Steve) Ross. He was Opa to Melissa Beth, Emily and Noah. He worked as a journeyman plumber in the Sacramento area over 60 years. He enjoyed building, cooking, music and socializing, and used those skills to help others in Liberia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Jamaica, Mexico and home. Phil loved his Lord and served in many areas of ministry, including as a Sunday school teacher, youth leader and Deacon. He supported his family in their many pursuits, including putting his wife through college and medical school, and encouraging his children and grandchildren to follow their dreams.
