Janice Eleanor "Jan" Kleine

Janice Eleanor (Jan) Kleine, 93, passed away surrounded by loving family on July 23, 2018.  A Sacramento native, Jan was born on February 23, 1925.  She attended William Land Elementary School, California Junior High, and graduated from CK McClatchy High School in February 1943.  She attended Sacramento Jr. College and worked for Pacific Telephone.  Jan was married to the love of her life Charlie for 72 years until his death in 2016 and was totally involved with her family.  A go, go, go person, she was an avid vegetable gardener and also enjoyed painting, skiing, backyard family barbeques and volleyball, vacationing in Hawaii, camping, RV travel and the SF Giants.  Jan was the heart of her family and was a fiercely devoted wife, mom, grandma, sister, auntie and friend.  We will love and hold her deep in our hearts forever.  She is survived by her loving daughters Susie Hirai (Tatsumi) and Sally Theroux (Mike), grandchildren Christopher Hirai, Daniel Hirai (Tiffany), and Moriah Theroux (James), great-grandchildren Quinn Angello and twins Dylan and Ellie Hirai, brother Ron DiLorenzo (Karen), niece Claudia Baker (Tim) and nephew Ross Cosby, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and her dog Mitzie.  She was preceded in death by her parents Jack Borge and Margaret (Borge) DiLorenzo, devoted husband Charles Kleine, beloved sisters Vivian Cosby (Gene) and Becky Arquero (Al) and brother Raymond DiLorenzo.
