Anthony L. Dicce departed this earth the morning of Friday, December 14th surrounded by his loving wife, Jennifer; and two daughters, Anne-Marie Dicce (Ruben Valenzuela) and Victoria Dicce (Christopher Smith). Born Sept. 12, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Anthony and Rose Dicce and brother of Mary and Domenick. The family moved to Stockton, CA in 1960. He attained his B.S. from CSU Sacramento followed by his J.D. from UC's Hastings College of Law. As a Deputy Attorney General for the State of California, Anthony built his career as a Lead Prosecutor in the Criminal Law Division. He worked on Legislation at the State Capitol and participated in the development of the Three Strikes Law of 1994. He had multiple cases in the CA State Supreme Court and Courts of Appeal. He was a Professor of Law for many years at Lincoln Law School. He became the Academic Dean from 2001 to 2009 following his retirement from the Department of Justice. As an Adjunct Professor for McGeorge School of Law and MTI College's Paralegal Studies, he continued his passion for teaching. As Professor and Dean to his law students, he was tough but fair, realistic but kind, and ever encouraging. A loving husband, Anthony and Jennifer celebrated their 50th Anniversary this past February. As a devoted father, nothing made him happier than spending time with his daughters, Anne-Marie and Victoria. Being "Poppa" to his grandson and namesake Anthony, son of Anne-Marie and Ruben, was his pure joy. He also warmly welcomed his new son-in-law, Christopher Smith, to the family. He was a caring and supportive big brother to Domenick M. Dicce (Lavina) of Stockton, and uncle to Domenick R. Dicce and Lisa Dicce. Second only to family were his passions for Baseball, Classic Cars, and Italian cooking.
